Precast Panel Handling
Precast concrete is heavy, awkward, and unforgiving. The panels need to be lifted from the truck, positioned at the building, aligned with millimetre precision, and held in place while the fixing crew does their work. The machine doing the lifting needs capacity, reach, and control.
The Magni RTH 6.46's 360-degree rotation is the difference. Standard telehandlers can lift and extend — but they can't rotate under load. When you're placing a precast panel on a building that isn't directly in front of where the machine is parked, you need rotation. The Magni delivers it at full capacity.
Pick-and-carry capability adds another dimension. The Magni can lift precast panels from the delivery truck and transport them across site to the installation point — a workflow that standard cranes can't replicate without repositioning.
Why the Magni for Precast
- 6,000kg capacity — handles the heaviest precast panels in common use
- 360° rotation under load — position panels from any angle without repositioning the machine
- Pick and carry — transport panels from truck to installation point
- 45.6m reach — place panels at height on multi-storey builds
- Tight-site operation — works in spaces where mobile cranes can't set outriggers
